SSE Biography

Many moons ago.  near THE industrial outskirts OF THE CITY.  The South Side Exiles were CHICAGO born out of THE RAINBOW MOTEL rock and roll fantasy suite on one electric neon night.  these LIFE LONG FRIENDS HAVE MAINTAINED A true passion for music Ever since coming together in 1977. "through the rock and the roll we can overcome and live in truth" is the band mantra.  SSE ORIGINAL MUSIC HAS BEEN TRIED AND TRUE Through THE BANDS CLASSIC ROCK ROOTS INSPIRED BY THE LIKES OF THE STONES, LOU REED, CHUCK BERRY, AND nEW YORK DOLLS.  SSE MUSIC IS GUITAR RIFf DRIVEN WITH EDGY URBAN LYRICS THAT SPEAK OF CURRENT TIMES AND REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE.
